Snow... ughhhh... what's it good for? Absolutely NOTHING!!!!

Well, it looks as if winter left us for a while, only to sneak back up on us and scream, "PSYCHE!"
Okay, I guess I shouldn't complain. There was only about an inch of snow covering everything when I got up.... nothing major.

Life is still slowly waltzing by here in Ohio. We have three months left with the inlaws... I really cannot wait to move. On Sunday, we went and checked out a nice little Cape Cod in Westerville. I think it was a little out of our price range, but it seemed to have everything that we were looking for! All we would need would be about 25K extra dollars in the bank account!!!

We also went and "interviewed" a buying agent with Coldwell-Banker. He seemed like a nice enought guy, but we are going to check out a couple of other Realtors before plunking all our chips down on red, so to speak.

Last week, Kate booked a fantastic beach house in North Carolina for us! We plan on taking a much needed coastal vacation this August. Chris will be with us and some good friends will most likely be joining us for the week. Check it out at the link below.

One other thing. I made an appointment to speak to a counselor at Franklin University. It looks like that will be the path I will take as far as continuing education goes. Their tuition rates are pretty high compared to OSU but that 100% tuition reinbursement I get here at work should cover most of it.

I'm a frequent reader of right wing propaganda. I'll admit that. I think there are quite a few decent, straight forward Republicans out there who run excellent commentary on their blogs. They are typically warm and open to respectful debate. Mike M. 's blog is a good example. Blognonymous has a great post on a new Washington Post chart that basically shows what Democrats have said all along... Abramhoff was lining three Republican pockets for every one Democrat pocket. But if you read sites like anti-Dem No Agenda or Espella Humanzee , you'll see how Republican apologists are trying to spin the whole "they did it too so it's okay" arguement. In fact, No Agenda makes no note of the blatent corruption happening on their side of the aisle. Typical. Still, I haven't heard squat from the MSM about Bush's $100,000 in campaign contributions received from the lobbyist. Of that $100,000, the Administration has agreed to return 6% of the amount to charity. That's kinda like donating a small portion of your bank robbery pot to the Red Cross.
